Foxy Foxtrot

I'm taking a ballroom dance class at BYU because I need a reason to step away from the business building everyday. It's actually a blast and a great break from business school. I took a beginning class last semester and am now in the intermediate (silver level) class. We learn the waltz, foxtrot, and tango. Most of the other students in this class are undergraduates and every once in awhile, I really feel old.

We rotate partners frequently and I was dancing with 'Joe' the other day. (substitute name to protect the innocent, and is this an appropriate usage of quotations?) He was talking about his frustrations with girls and how he just didn't understand the feminine mind. (Unfortunately, that probably will never change), but I replied that he still had awhile to figure it out. He couldn't be more than, say, 25 or 26.

"26!" he replied. "No, I'm 18!"

Wow, I'm 15 years older than him. Is this legal?

Anyway, I took my dance final today and got to dance with my instructor, who is really tall (great thing for me), really good (even better), and a nice guy. So, I had a great time and got an A on my test! It's amazing that such a simple thing has made my day. Forget about business school, getting a job, etc. I'm going to walk around all day with a smile on my face, knowing that I got on A on my dance test. :)

Sure it's legal! Although it is also kind of weird...

LOL... I thought legal was 21... no matter, since Sue and I both robbed the cradle, u'r in good company. Wish ur brother would take a dance class with me. Been trying to talk him into it for years. Maybe u can talk it up when we see u at Christmas. In case u haven't heard, we'll be at M&D's on the 26th. Keep smilin' and dancin'. Luv ya.
