Formatting photos: for all my blogging genius friends

Help! I don't know how to format my header on this blog. I try to add a photo, and then it comes up huge. Is there a way to shrink it? Change the font size of my header text? Any advice from my all-knowing-blogging-genius-friends is appreciated. Thanks!

I have resized this photo to three different sizes to choose from. I will email them to you. Let me know if you were looking for something different.
