So, I've been running with my new 'shoes' lately and I'm loving it so far. I found that I have tender toes, so I just put a band-aid on my big toes before going for a run, and then I have no issues. I was able to run 5 miles in them the other day. My calf muscles have gotten a lot stronger and my running stride feels good as well. I'm training for a half marathon in May, so I'm hoping to run the entire way with these shoes. It should feel like I'm running barefoot.

By way of other updates, I've been invited to be a guest blogger for the 'Dare to Dream' blog. I met the creator of this blog last year at a BYU 'Women in Business' dinner event. She was the keynote speaker and I was very impressed with her perspective. We talked briefly after the event, exchanged contact info, and have keep in touch. I've been reading her blog, which is basically a forum for women to share experiences, dreams, hopes, and inspirational and honest perspectives. I'm writing my piece now, so will let you know when it's posted!
