It seems rare that I find a dress I can wear without any modifications. This is a great one from Anthropologie. It has a bit of a kimono flare- which I love. It's a relaxed fit, but with a great belt to accentuate the waist. And, the peacock feathers in the print are fantastic. Love it.

Rocker Chic

I love this look and that it has just a little edge to it. The jeans are from Rock Revival (via Buckle) and have some great detailing to them. The jacket is faux leather from Ann Taylor. It looks so real- who knew?
Tee: Daytrip Wallpaper Scroll T-shirt
Jean: Rock Revival, here's a similar style
Jacket: Ann Taylor Faux Leather Jacket, purchased last year
Ring: I got this ring a few years ago and love it. I was at a jewelry 'party' and I just can't seem to recall the designer. But, I seem to remember that this artist makes jewelry out of scrap materials/metal. I just love the look of this piece.

Fashion Week
Saturday, September 8, 2012
It's NY fashion week and how I would love to be there. I really wanted to post a few photos of some of my favorites, but I would run into copyright issues. Sad. :(
But, here are a few links to my favorites. Enjoy!
(I realized after I posted all these links that these photos are from the fashion week that was earlier this year. Oh well- still fabulous stuff!)
All of these come from CNBC's NY fashion week highlights.
I love this color blocked look from Diane Von Furstenberg. It's very bold and dramatic, with beautiful choice of colors. I would absolutely wear this (you know I love those yellow pants!)
Designer Tadashi Shoji
This is a very feminine, flowy dress. I love the skirt.
Venexiana by designer Kati Stern
If you only click on one link, click here! This is an amazing dress. It looks like liquid gold- lovely.

The Red Coat
Tuesday, August 28, 2012
Fall is in the air! I adore a colorful coat in the fall and winter. It seems that so many people wear dark colors in winter and a colorful coat is a great way to add some happiness to your life! This coat is from JCrew and they have a lot of great colors to choose from. I'm also showing it with a tan blazer as another option.
I convinced my good friend, Dan, to take these photos. He's turned out to be a natural! Thanks Dan!
I hesitated putting this photo in here, because I didn't want it to be too bootylicious. But, doesn't everyone want to know if their jeans make their butt look good? Honestly, I love these jeans. The back pockets have a nice detail, which I tried to show here (in a tasteful way :)
Coat: JCrew Lady Day Coat
Top: WHBM Striped Kimono Sweater
Blazer: Banana Republic
Jean: Rock Revival Pat Boot Stretch Jean On sale!
Shoe: Enzo Angiolini Patent Leather Peeptoe pump
Shades: Jimmy Choo I found these on sale at Nordstrom.
